18th PUSZTA CUP 2002

World Cup and Open International Aeromodelling contest
in F1A, F1B, F1C free flight categories

We invite all competitors who have valid FAI Sport Licence (it must be shown up at the registration).

Organiser: Cavalloni Modelling Club, Budapest
Date of contest: July 26-29, 2002.
Contest area: Kunszentmiklós, HUNGARY. This area is about 70 km from Budapest in southern direction.

FAI jury: Dr. András Reé Hungary, Ferenc Somogyi Hungary, Ludovic Gaher Romania

Contest Dir. Andor Harmath Hungary

Fees: Entry 40 CHF.  For additional categories the entry fee is 30 CHF / category.

Board and lodging is to be arranged on your own.
The list of accommodation possibilities (address/tel./fax/price) to be found on the www.cavalloni.hu web site.
We can offer also a provisional camping possibility near the flying field (with WC only), the price will be ........ CHF.

Entry applications must be arrived until July 20, 2002 to the following address:

If necessary it is possible to pay at the registration. Please arrange the transfer until the entry deadline and sign this fact in the entry application.

Programme:

July 26 Arrival and registration from 17 to 20.
Place of registration is the Community Centre at Kunszentmiklós
The address is Kunszentmiklós, Damjanich str. 7. (At the middle of the town.)

The finally result would be on the internet at Monday evening.
If anybody would like to get an official result after the contest, please notice it at the registration.

If anybody don’t appear on the registration in the office, those may depend that we wouldn't accept the entry application in the airfield.
If nevertheless than have to pay with 50% more (60 CHF) than the original entry fee!

July 27 F1A contest day
July 28 F1B and F1C contest day
Schedule of flights on both contest days:
10 - 10.55 1. round, 180" max.
11 - 11.55 2. round, 180" max.
12 - 12.55 3. round, 180" max.
13 - 13.55 4. round, 180" max.
14 - 15 lunch break
15 - 15.55 5. round, 180" max.
16 - 16.55 6. round, 180" max.
17 - 17.55 7. round, 240" max for F1A, 300" for F1B and F1C
18.30 - Fly-off rounds

Otherwise everything will run according to the current FAI Sporting Code.
On both contest days the prize giving ceremony will be organised on the flying field after the contest.

July 29 Departure.

Awards: The first three in individual listing will be awarded.

Addendum

Note for F1A competitors: Please check the area of pennant (flag) on launching cable!  FAI Sporting Code Section IV  Volume F1   3.1.11.c): "To facilitate observation and timing, the cable must be equipped with a pennant having a minimum area of 2,5 dm2 , attached directly to the main cable."
